Briefly Sum Up The Months In 2009

January:
Cold, dull, sort of life-changing?

February:
Miserable.

March:
A little better, but also kind of miserable.

April:
Death Cab for Cutie, failed love attempts

May:
The Little Prince, Star Trek

June:
Journey, Star Wars books, True Blood

July:
Work!, Harry Potter!

August:
Work, Songs for a New World

September:
Sadness, school, birthday's, Glee

October:
Stress, excitement, new beginnings, parties!

November:
Learned Ladies, maybe love, parties!

December:
HQ, Susanna, Christmas, Friends, awesome times, parties!

Which was the best month for you?:
I'd have to say that December has been pretty darn good to me. Though May-June was pretty great too.

Which was the worst?:
February, without a doubt. My grandpa died and I went through a messy break-up. No thanks.

What was the most significant thing that happened this year?:
In the long-run, probably my grandpa dying. I hope Susanna and me proves to be significant but you never know.

What person had the most impact on your life this year?:
All my girls I dated/courted, my good friends, my professors...I don't know. A lot of people!

What was the best concert that you attended?:
Oh gosh...I'd have to go with Coldplay.

What was your biggest challenge of 2009?:
I think it was learning to juggle a lot more than I've ever had to before, especially this past semester. Classes, shows, exercise, friends, family...I had a lot going on and couldn't be everywhere at once.

Your biggest regret?:
Probably losing my v-card.....I don't regret the act so much as who it was with.

What moment stands out to you the most?:
None of your business.

What band did you listen to the most?:
I fell back in love with Death Cab for Cutie this year, so they may have gotten the most listens. But I was also obsessed with Ingrid Michaelson all year (I know, she's not a band...whateves)

On a scale of 1-10, 2009 was:
8! A lot of good things happened but some pretty shitty things happened too.

Did you....

Meet anyone special?:
Yes :)

Get close to someone you didn't expect to?:
Yep. Basically, other than Dave, I wasn't close to any of the HQ crew last year. If you had told me who would be in that group a year ago I would have said "well...that's a weird group...but okay!"

Have a boyfriend or girlfriend?:
Yes. 2 this year.

Have a relationship for more than 3 months?:
Yep :/

Hook up with anyone, no strings attached?:
Nope! Thank goodness.

Experience the death of a loved one?:
Yes :(

Get in a fight?:
Not a physical one. And I believe my only real "fights" were with my crazy ex.

Lose a friend?:
Yeah...I'm not as close to some people at school that I was close to last year. I don't really mind.

Get drunk?:
More this year than I ever have in my life. You guys...I got drunk a lot. Crazy. Who would have ever thought?

Regret doing something?:
Didn't we already cover this?

Go to a concert?:
I went to several! Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, The Decemberists, Regina Spektor, and Ingrid Michaelson. Yessir! It was a good year for concerts!

Fall in love?:
Yes.

Fall out of love?:
I don't know if I was ever really in love with Liz...but assuming I was...then yes.

Get back together with an ex?:
No. We almost did for a second there. Thank God we didn't.

Enjoy being single?:
Yeah. It's not all bad. I think I'm better at being a boyfriend than I am at dating/asking girls out though.

Accomplish a goal?:
Yep. I'm going to ACTF as an Irene Ryan partner, aren't I?

Learn something new?:
A few things--- how to act Shakespeare, I've learned that I'm a better singer than I've thought, and I've learned a lot about relationships and other stuff. Yeah. I learned a lot of crap this year.

Get arrested?:
Thankfully no.

Break up with someone?
Yes.

Get a tattoo?:
No sir.

Go to a party?:
All the damn time.

Your favorites of 2009

Favorite CD (released in 2009):
"Far" by Regina Spektor

Favorite CD (not released in 2009):
Over the course of this year it was probably "Plans" by Death Cab or "Day and Age" by The Killers

Favorite song:
"Bad Things" by Jace Everett, "You Don't Know Me" by Ben Folds (with Regina), "No You Girls" by Franz Ferdinand, and basically every song Ingrid Michaelson releases this year. OH- and GLEE

Favorite movie:
(500) Days of Summer

Favorite person to talk to:
I love talking to all my friends. I'm so blessed. You are all amazing people.

Favorite thing to do:
Act! Watch my shows! And....make out. I'm not going to lie. I love making out. Dooooesn't really matter who it's with. (Okay, it kind of does. Especially now since I'm in a relationship haha)

Favorite TV show:
I think True Blood and Glee were stand-outs this year.

Favorite memory:
I honestly have so many good memories. Though I think saying the L word to Susanna was a fairly perfect moment.

Favorite food:
I've been all about the white cheddar Mac and Cheese at Panera...but that's only in the last month or so...I don't know. My memory sucks. I really like lasagna?

Favorite drink:
Miller Lite hahahaha

Favorite outfit:
I wore that black plaid button-up to death.

Favorite celebrity:
Neil Patrick Harris!

Favorite place to be:
HQ

The New Year

What will you be doing on New Year's Eve?:
Going to Jaclynn's of course!

Will you kiss anyone at midnight?:
I think so! She should be coming with me.

Who do you WANT to kiss at midnight?:
Susanna!

What is your New Year's resolution?:
To handle my money better!

Did you keep your resolution from last year?:
I think it was to get in better shape...so yes, I think I did.

Do you think things will be different in 2010?:
They always are, aren't they?

What do you want most out of 2010?:
To graduate!

Do you think 2010 will be better than 2009?:
Hopefully. I had a blast in 2009 but it did have it's sucky parts.

Anything you are particularly looking forward to?:
ACTF, The Good Doctor, living at HQ for the summer???? Ahhh!

4 Final Quotes / Lyrics / Comments to describe 2009:

1: There's nothing I can say/ There's nothing we can do now/ And all that stands between the souls release/ Is temporary flesh and bone/ You know that it's over now/ I feel my faded mind begin to roam.

2: They say you're really not somebody/ Until somebody else loves you/ Well I am waiting to make somebody somebody soon

3: CRAB WALLLK, TUURGET, WAHL-MAERT, AEHRLMONDS

4: I don't know who you think you are/ But before the night is through/ I wanna do bad things with you

Seasons Greetings!
[info]darth_sark
 Hi all!

My break has been pretty decent so far. I've been admittedly lazy. I'm not as memorized for my Irene Ryan scenes as I should be and I haven't even touched my "Good Doctor" script. Whoops.

A lot of this can be blamed on my recent obsession with "Fringe". I finally finished Season One this week. Only took me over a year. It started off slow (back when I was watching it when they actually aired) but as the season progressed it kept getting more and more interesting. It's a really good show. I'm going to try and get caught up on Season 2 if I can.

So on Monday I watched quite a bit of "Fringe". I had no plans at all so I re-organized the bulletin board in my room and actually put up recent pictures. It looks so good now! Then I ended up going over to Erin's house to hang out. It was a lot of fun! We caught up on all of the happenings in our lives and I told her my stories of encounters with high school people.

She was hungry so we went to Ram's Horn and then we basically spent the whole night watching hilarious youtube videos.

Tuesday I had to get up early-ish to meet with Kryssy to go over our scenes. It went well. I was at least less nervous after that. I worked out after and then Mark came over to hang out. We played a lot of video games and then had dinner. Kristin came over after we ate. We decided to play Episode I Monopoly. Don't know why. Mark kicked our asses, of course.

Jaclynn, Sarah, and Rachel eventually stopped in and we played some crazy Blurt, among other things. It was a fun night! Good to get everyone together!

I had to work Wednesday morning. It wasn't all bad, just a little too early for my taste. We had this "Santa Fun Day" where kids came in for two hours to do gymnastics and get their picture taken with Santa. It was cute, but two hours is just too long to be with one group in Olympia. There's only so much you can do with the kids. Especially when you have nine 4-5 year-old boys by yourself. Luckily there was a craft station. Otherwise I would have been screwed.

We had a staff meeting after that. Fun stuff. Then I drove home and got rear-ended! More fun. Luckily there was no damage or anything.

I got home and promptly took a nap. Then I got up and watched 3 episodes of "Fringe". That was basically my Wednesday.

Thursday was Christmas Eve! We went to the 2 PM service at church and then went over to my aunt and uncle's house for dinner. I had lots of wine and was pretty happy. Dinner was delicious! We played some Beatles Rock Band for a while, among other things. Then we left to come home and do present opening! I did pretty okay this year. Here's what I got----

- Three new shirts

- New shoes

-Jeans

-Season 5 of LOST

- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

-P90X!!

Also, the Muse tickets counted as a Christmas gift too. Pretty awesome.

Christmas itself was okay. We didn't do much. My dad made us all breakfast and then I got started on my P90X. It's really tough but I love it. Hopefully it whips me into shape.

After a shower I watched some TV with my dad and then it was time for a turkey dinner my mom had made. It was very yummy! Then we headed out to go and see "Sherlock Holmes". For some reason, I had to drive in the dark and rain. Awesome.

It was crowded as hell at the theater but we had gotten tickets online so we were fine. The show was sold out so it was really, really hot in there. I thought it was an okay movie. Nothing too spectacular, but it was enjoyable.

I went home and played some Call of Duty with Mark and Stephen online. I'm getting a little better...sort of.

Yesterday I got a really slow start from staying up way too late. I did P90X when I woke up and it kicked my ass! It was Plyometrics which is basically exercises involving jumping. Oh. My. God. I was dying. I'm really proud of myself for actually finishing the whole workout. My legs were killing me.

After eating and a shower, I went with Jaclynn to do some shopping/returning. We tried to get Season 2 of the "Big Bang Theory" for Maegan but everywhere was out of it! We went to five stores I believe. Crazy. We're going to have it shipped to her from Amazon now.

We briefly parted ways to eat dinner at our respective houses and then she picked me up and we went to Maegan's where we hung out with her and her friend Olivia. We pre-drank before going to the bar, so I was pretty happy as we watched "Chicago". I was also forced to play "Twilight Scene It." I was drunk enough that it was extremely amusing.

We went to Main Street after that. I got a few drinks and was pretty darn drunk. It was a good night. Very good to talk with Maegan and Jaclynn and Olivia! We also went for a drunk McDonald's run after the bar which was probably the worst choice of the evening. Ugh.

Today I am more sore than I've ever been in my life. My legs are freaking killing me. I can barely make it up and down the stairs. So far, P90X is proving to be worth the money.

I really didn't do much today. I did more P90X and played some Call of Duty. By the time I was done doing that it was 5:30 (I got up pretty late). My mom and I went out to the Outback for dinner and then I watched "Inglorious Basterds" with my dad. That's really all I've done all day.

Hopefully more exciting things await me for the rest of the week? Susanna comes home on Wednesday! Finally!

Okay, goodnight. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
